Nice article, lots of good points and quotes.

I think anyway that the biggest problem is caused by the fact that people confuse the term “state” with the one of”nation”

And while the first is but a military institution with the monopoly of violence and theft, the second one is of a concept which includes everyone born in that place they call their nation.

To often politicians which should work as representatives of the nation, become the executives of that military institution which serves only the interests of its procures, commanders and military chiefs.

That is what needs to end if we are to restore that which our forefathers have fought for, our freedom.

This was a splendid article, thank you. The parallels to the present are disquieting, petrifying. It would seem that we have no recourse but to act courageously and cultivate defiance or face an ever-tightening strait jacket of tyranny.
